Get ready for another amazing night of music featuring some of Vancouvers best at 2nd Floor Gastown. August 28th we have none other than the Q3 gracing our stage!
Quinn, Schulz and Shakir present the jazz stylings and collaborations of veterans Norm Quinn, Trumpet and Flugelhorn, Guenter Schulz Guitar and David Shakir Bass. Their music will include unique interpretations of jazz standards and some new compositions, A magical presentation of the music they know and love. Norm Quinn plays Trumpet and Flugelhorn with this group. Known best for his melodicism and innovation and for his “It’s all about the music” approach. He also leads the quartet Big Shoulders, and plays with The Curbside Collective, The BLJQ, Material Culture, and other groups from the Vancouver area.

The 2nd Floor Gastown offers Live Music on Thursdays - Sundays, open during Dinner Service from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Guests may seat for both sets depending on availability and manager discretion.

Get ready for another amazing night of music featuring some of Vancouvers best at 2nd Floor Gastown. Sunday August 30th we have none other then Ballads, Bossas, and Blues gracing our stage!
Ballads, Bossas, and Blues are a Vancouver-based band formed in 2016 to play the compositions of bandleader Jake Huse. They combine contemporary jazz with influences from reggae, African and groove music and often explore polyrhythms, polymetre and odd-time signatures. They have released two EP’s on Bandcamp, with the latest, 2, in 2024. Featuring: Jake Huse: Tenor Saxophone/Composition James Huumo: Keyboard Dan Howard: Bass Andrew Wilson: Drums
